be reflected in the marsh landscape’s sublime expanse, wide

horizon and eternally refracting light. The process became

the exhibition “Fallen Fruit from Friesland”, where one of

the central elements was great-grandfather’s boat which,

filled with historical goods in the form of abstract figures,

came riding along on history’s wave, headed for the future.

Boy Petersen’s old boat returned to the Fisheries and

Maritime Museum at the end of March after a trip and a

usage which the old boatbuilder could hardly have imagined.

John Kørner had added yet another tale to great-grandfa-

ther’s boat.
