          The globe is currently heating up, and climate has indeed
        
        
          made its way on to the political agenda and into the minds
        
        
          of everyday people. Opinion on the subject has changed
        
        
          dramatically in recent years. Whether global warming is
        
        
          fact or fiction is thus no longer an issue in most discus-
        
        
          sions. Rather, the focus is on what mankind can do to stop
        
        
          further warming. In other words, it has become the general
        
        
          conception that global warming is indeed a fact, and that
        
        
          mankind is responsible for what is currently happening to
